Job
I have just gotten my first job since I moved to Muncie and I have to say I'm not very excited. When I worked in my home town, I landscaped. The job I start on monday is a teachers aid for an after school program. Kids aren't exactly my specialty. I like to work hard and with my hands. I tried getting a job as a landscaper here but I could never get a hold of the company through work study. Another thing, work study sucks. They do give you a scholarships but the jobs are very limited.
Night Class
Night class is something that seems different to me all together. Being a freshman, I still am kind of used to waking up early for school. I never gave much thought to school in the evenings. I have one class from 630 to 745 at night. I have to say I love it. You feel so much better it seems in the evenings. I notice that I am more focused which has to help my performance. I am going to take three night classes next semester.

Texting
Texting to me is so annoying. I mean it has its perks and all when you don't feel like talking. My grandma for instance can talk your head off on the phone but if you text her it ends pretty quickly. But still text after text after text gets on my nerves. I hate when I have to have a 3 hour conversation texting the whole time. I'm not saying I would rather not have it, I just don't like having to text every two minutes for a long time.
Home
I don't know about everyone else, but I love to go home. Not only do I get to see alot of my good friends who stayed in town but I get to see my family too. I can tell my dad really enjoys when I go home. I hang out with him alot when I do because he gets lonely when I'm gone. I do have a brother and sister too but they are really wrapped up in thier own things so he enjoys me because I hang w. him the whole time I'm at my house. I enjoy his company as much as he does mine so its great to be home.

Bejewled Blitz
For those Bejewled Blitz players out there on facebook, I want to know how you do it. I've played Bejewled Blitz hundreds of times since I was introduced to it when I first got to campus. It is a pretty cool game. The objective is to get as many colored blocks in a row with three as the minimum. My very best score is around 175, 000. People on there are throwing up scores more than twice mine. This is what I cant understand. I think I just dominate when I play and my scores can barely be improved. I have no clue how people do it.

Mexico: Drug War
The Drug war that is being fought in Mexico has been proved more difficult than ever thought. More than 6300 people have died since December 2006 of drug related murders. The killings have came across the border of Mexico and Americans are dieing too. Mexico is on the verge of collapse because of America's demand for drugs. America has to take a lot of the blame too because almost ninety percent of the weapons used in Mexico come from the U.S.A. Gun laws in Mexico make it almost impossible to buy guns, but since the laws are weak in the United States, people buy them here and then smuggle them into Mexico. The United States are helping buy sending millions of dollars in helicopters and intelligence to help fight this war.

MLIA
I found a pretty cool website today. The website is mylifeisaverage.com. The site is basically a big blog about instances people have had during thier day. It is filled with comedy and irony. Here is one example "Today, I was reminiscing with my mom about my childhood. I found out that I learned to tie my shoelaces at age 3. All the preschool kids would line up for me to tie their shoes. I was a child prodigy. MLIA". Maybe not funny to you but I love the stories that are told. Definitely made my night.
Peer editing
Does the writer have a second thesis, distinct from the song analysis? Does that thesis make a significant argument that synthesizes or brings together the song and the book by identifying a mutual literary element?
This is the thing on the peer reviews that will help me the most. I didn't realized that the book analysis was supposed to be seperate so my whole essay is tied to Ishmael's book. I would say this will help my grade out.

Lap Top
Ever since I have gotten to college, there is one thing I regret buying. I'm not saying I don't love my lap top but I really don't think its necessary. As a student of ball state, I have resources to computers everywhere. These computers not only are just as good as my computer, they have software that mine doesn't even have. I have to say spending money on a lap top isn't necessary. The money I spent could have been used on my tution, a good time, or whatever. Printers are another unnecessary thing that people bring. By paying tution, we have access to these things for free. I wish I woulda done the research and maybe I could be a little richer right now.
So boring!
I am currently sitting in a class right now and its downright rough. The guy drones on for and hour and 15 like nothing. He will hit the same points in his lecture more than five times no lie. Not only that the class is way to easy anyway and everyone in class gets it but still he just keeps going. The class is kind of a computer and math class combined. We just recently went over microsoft word which almost all has used for quite sometime and adding and subtracting decimals. O well, I guess I'll get a good grade.
